4 people shot on Virginia State University campus, suspects identified

Local and state police are investigating after four people were shot on Virginia State University’s campus early Wednesday. A Chesterfield County Police Department spokesperson told USA TODAY the shooting took place just after midnight near Daniel Gymnasium on the school's campus. About 12:36 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting on Boisseau Street where they found four people shot, according to a press release from the department.
