Loring developers have paid off tax bill to Limestone

LIMESTONE, Maine — After falling months behind, developers who own a portion of the former Loring Air Force Base have paid real estate taxes to Limestone. Green 4 Maine LLC purchased 450 acres of the base from the state-funded Loring Development Authority last year, making that part of Loring subject to local tax assessment.
