What you saw, in the final turn of the Cook Out 400 at Richmond International Raceway Sunday night, was NASCAR at its best, and at its worst, all at once. It started with Austin Dillon plowing through race leader Joey Logano, then, as Logano spun out of control, and Denny Hamlin, running in third, cut to the inside to steer clear of both Dillon and Logano, briefly taking the lead, Dillon dipped down, clipped Hamlin’s right rear, and sent him spinning.
