D.C.-area forecast: Great weather for next few days before late week shower chances

A somewhat subjective rating of the day’s weather, on a scale of 0 to 10. 9/10: This is about as good as it gets in early August. Warm, but not too hot, and humidity is low. Through the weekend, this summer so far had been tied as the hottest on record. But, with temperatures near or slightly below average this week, this year should fall out of first place.
