Naples man arrested in connection with Portland homicide

Four people were brought to the hospital in connection with the shooting July 30 on Forest Avenue, and one of those four people died from her injuries. Portland police took Aaron Karp, 47, into custody Thursday. He is being held at the Cumberland County Jail with no bail, police said Friday in a press release. At 8:45 p.m. on July 30, Portland police responded to the 1110 block of Forest Avenue—an area called Morrills Corner—for a report of a shooting.
