Ethiopian steeplechaser Lamecha Girma needed to be stretchered off of the track after a horrible fall on the last lap of the 3,000-metre steeplechase final The 23-year-old, who is the world record holder, hit his head after clipping the barrier, falling to the track. He did not finish the race, and needed a neck brace.
