N.J.’s iconic Fairy Tale Forest is finally reopening — weather permitting
Fairy Tale Forest — the North Jersey theme park that for five decades allowed kids to step inside their favorite stories — is scheduled to reopen Thursday if stormy weather doesn’t get in the way.
The 15-acre park in Oak Ridge has been closed since 2003. There has been talk of it reopening for nearly a decade, but permits, construction and the COVID pandemic stalled the effort.
