Michigan’s Slotkin wins primary, to face GOP’s Rogers for Senate seat
Democratic Rep. Elissa Slotkin will face off against former Republican Rep. Mike Rogers for a Michigan Senate seat in the November election. Slotkin, a Jewish former CIA intelligence officer, defeats actor Hill Harper in the Democratic primary, while Republicans choose Rogers over Justin Amash, a former congressman of Palestinian heritage, and physician Sherry O’Donnell.
