Brandon man dead after found floating in Ross Barnett Reservoir

A Brandon man was found dead in the Ross Barnett Reservoir over the weekend, according to a Sunday statement by Reservoir Police Chief Carlos DiPuma. DiPuma said the department received a call around 10 p.m. Saturday regarding an unoccupied boat near the rocks at the control house on the upper spillway. DiPuma said when officers arrived, they began to search the area.
