Man in critical condition after near-drowning at Range Pond State Park

A 21-year-old man is recovering at a hospital after nearly drowning at Range Pond State Park on Saturday. The man, who has not been identified, had been swimming with friends when he became tired and attempted to swim back to shore, according to the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office.
