For Trump, presidency isn’t about sacrifice, it’s an ego trip

Interesting letter to the editor from reader Dolores Orlando (“Trump made sacrifices for the nation’s good,” July 27) but I think we might have a few conclusions wrong. Let’s go by the numbers: First, Donald Trump’s choice to leave his comfortable retirement and run for president wasn’t generous. It was a huge desire for power.
