BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The National Hurricane Center says that a tropical depression is likely to form in the eastern Gulf of Mexico by this weekend or early next week. Development odds are listed at 30% over the next 2 days, but 70% over the next 7 days as of the 1 p.m. Thursday update.
