Man dead, another injured in Bethlehem after car hits tree during storm

A Northampton County man died Wednesday night after a car hit a tree during a storm in Bethlehem. City police said in a news release that a vehicle going eastbound on Pembroke Road hit a tree about 8 p.m. near the intersection with East Washington Avenue. Witnesses told authorities that the vehicle appeared to lose control and went off the road before hitting the tree.
