— The city School Board saw firsthand Friday the challenges that an aging and crowded John Kerr Elementary School presents for the division. The board tours all six of the division’s schools during the year, and on Friday set out to learn more about the instruction and learning space at Kerr. The school is more than 40 years old, and has 358 students occupying a space designed for up to 304.
