When the theater bug bites, most people just audition for a play. Not Ron Ketelsen. His hometown of Monticello didn’t have a community theater, so he started one — when he was just 16 years old. A high school student, Ketelsen was “mesmerized” by a production of “Oklahoma!” he saw at Dubuque’s community theater.
