Chapel Hill police investigate after man fatally shot at apartment complex

Chapel Hill police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man early Wednesday morning at an apartment complex off Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Officers responding to a call at 1:04 a.m. found a man with gunshot wounds in the 100 block of Ashley Forest Road, according to a news release. He was taken to UNC Hospitals, where he later died, police said.
