The National Weather Service in Indianapolis shared that there is a moderate to major heat risk today with unseasonably hot and humid conditions expected. "High temperatures in the lower and middle 90s and dew point temperatures in the 70s will produce heat index values as high as 105 degrees or slightly higher," NWS said in a special weather statement.
