38-year-old motorcyclist killed in Little Cottonwood Canyon crash

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A motorcyclist was killed in a head-on collision in Little Cottonwood Canyon Friday night, according to the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office. At around 7:45 p.m. on July 12, a motorcyclist, identified as Neil Munroe, 38, was heading westbound on Little Cottonwood Canyon Road. According to officials, Munroe “lost control while navigating a turn” and crashed into an oncoming vehicle at a section of the road near the Iron Blosam Hotel at Snowbird. Unified Fire Authority personnel responded and pronounced Munroe deceased at the scene....
