Feminist artist Niki Johnson pokes at RNC with crystal portraits of state capitols
Feminist artist and political provocateur Niki Johnson is opening a new show July 12 in Milwaukee in response to the presence of the Republican National Convention here. Johnson is most widely known for the controversial "Eggs Benedict," a portrait of the late Pope Benedict XVI made from 17,000 condoms, in response to remarks Benedict made about condom use and AIDS.
