Carjacking brings prison term for South Jersey man

PHILADELPHIA — A 21-year-old Gloucester Township man has been sentenced to almost nine years in federal prison for a carjacking here. Ronald Brown took a car at gunpoint from two people sitting outside a Dunkin' in South Philadelphia in July 2023, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. Brown fled when Philadelphia police officers saw him in the stolen vehicle the next day, according to the federal prosecutor's office.
