Heat advisory, air quality alert in effect Monday in Lancaster County
A heat advisory and an air quality alert are in effect Monday in Lancaster County. The National Weather Service announced a heat advisory from noon to 8 p.m. Monday. The service issues heat advisories when the heat index, how hot the air feels, is predicted to exceed 100 degrees. High temperatures and humidity could cause heat-related illnesses, the service said.
