2 arrested after deadly crash near Packers Avenue

MADISON (WKOW) -- Two people have been arrested following a deadly crash near the intersection of Packers Avenue and Tennyson Lane, according to the Madison Police Department. A car crashed into a tree and two people inside the vehicle fled the scene, according to police. Lt. Kimberly Alan reported the crash happened at 4:30 a.m. One person inside the vehicle was pinned inside and died from their injuries. A 22-year-old man and 19-year-old woman were arrested.
