Letters: Republicans in Congress to blame for lack of immigration reform

In the past seven and a half years, I can remember three immigration bills that came up for a vote in Congress. All killed by Republicans. An immigration bill in Congress while Trump was president was killed in June 2018 in part because it wanted severe penalties for companies who hire illegal immigrants.
