More thunderstorms, high temps expected Saturday in Connecticut, weather service says

The hot and humid weather will continue in Connecticut this weekend, with some parts of the state at risk for more damaging thunderstorms, forecasters say. The National Weather Service extended heat advisories across most of Connecticut until Sunday evening, with heat index values of 95 to 100 expected Saturday and Sunday.
