Colorado Supreme Court rules against Aspen condominium association dispute over construction defects

The Colorado Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled against an Aspen condominium association’s legal dispute over construction defects. The Burlingame Ranch II Condominium Owners Association (BGII), part of an affordable housing complex in Aspen, initially claimed in 2020 that the municipal government was responsible for paying $8 million in construction defects and related costs. The Burlingame homeowners’ association represents 82 condo owners for Phase 2.
