Anchorage records its warmest three-day stretch since 2022

Anchorage residents have enjoyed a stretch of warm, sunny days, and more sun is in the forecast. Brian Brettschneider, a National Weather Service climate scientist at the Alaska region headquarters in Anchorage, said Friday through Sunday, the official three-day average high temperature was 71.3 degrees, the hottest since the summer of 2022. Some parts of the Anchorage Bowl hit 80 degrees.
