Cleveland Animal Protective League receives increased calls to emergency line due to heat

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - When temperatures rise into the 80s and 90s, it is important to check up on your friends and family members. But our pets also need special attention. The Animal Protective League in Cleveland says their main investigation hot line is ringing more than usual this week due to the heat. They said they have received at least a dozen calls related to animals in hot weather.
