Solon council amends criteria for seniors, disabled residents to qualify for snow removal

SOLON, Ohio – City Council has amended a chapter of the city’s streets, utilities and public services code regarding snow removal services for senior citizens and disabled residents. On Monday (June 17), council authorized the mayor and the city’s service director to provide snow removal services for residents age 65 or older and who have an annual household income of not more than 200 percent of the federal poverty level.
