Tornado confirmed in Lawrence causing property damage, overturned USPS trucks

LAWRENCE — The National Weather Service said an EF-0 landspout tornado touched down Friday evening. Police Chief Christopher Longo released a statement Saturday confirming that several buildings and vehicles were damaged, but no injuries were reported. NWS Mount Holly said the estimated peak wind speed was 80 mph and the tornado’s path was .13 miles long and 60 yards wide.
