Summit County government spent nearly $123 million on programs and services in 2023, a roughly 20% increase in spending from the prior year, according to newly released financial reports. The breakdown of government spending was just one highlight from a 116-page report of last year’s county finances presented during a Tuesday, June 11, Summit Board of County Commissioners work session.
