Rose Fire destroys 4 homes, closes US 60 near Wickenburg

WICKENBURG, AZ (AZFamily) — A fast-moving wildfire called the Rose Fire has destroyed four homes and shut down the U.S. 60 freeway south of Wickenburg, officials said on Wednesday. Fire officials said the wildfire has burned roughly 150 acres. The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management said it’s launching a single-engine air tanker and a larger air tanker to battle the flames from the air.
