N.J. town says it has exhausted all options, will kill troublesome geese

A town in Somerset County plans to have federal officials kill dozens of Canada geese within the next few weeks, with officials saying none of the alternative options to remove the troublesome waterfowl from a two-acre park have been effective. Animal right advocates say they will continue to fight to save the 50 to 60 geese in Liberty Park in the borough of Peapack & Gladstone. They argue the geese are harmless and do not bother people.
