Strong storms with damaging winds and baseball-sized hail pummeled Texas on Tuesday, leaving more than 1 million businesses and homes without power as much of the U.S. recovered from severe weather, including tornadoes, that killed at least 25 people during the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Widespread outages were reported in north Texas, which includes Dallas and Fort Worth, where an oppressive, early season heatwave added to the misery.
