Environmental groups raise concerns about data center tax breaks

GAINES TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — They may be the key to the cloud, but data centers, the companies that store vital information, also use up a lot of energy to power their servers and water to cool them down. Environmental groups are concerned with pending legislation in Lansing that would allow tax loopholes for data centers.
