Pedestrian killed in Ogletown

The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal accident involving a pedestrian Monday night, May 20, 2024, in Ogletown. Shortly before 9 p.m. the pedestrian was struck by a pick up truck on eastbound Route 4 at Salem Church Road. Troopers said the victim was attempting to cross the roadway from the center median, and the driver swerved to miss him, but was unable to avoid the collision.
