Man rescued after falling 40 feet at Great Falls in Simsbury

SIMSBURY, Conn. (WTNH) – A man was rescued Monday after he fell 40 feet down at Great Falls in Simsbury.

According to the Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department, the regional rope rescue teams help rescue the man. Officials said it took about two hours to lift the man up the cliff.

The man was then taken by Life Star to Hartford for further treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.
