LOWELL — All across the city, residents – and pets – are preparing for an extended-day forecast that calls for temperatures in the mid-to-upper 80 degrees under bright, sunny skies. The temperatures, while not extreme, still raise the risk of heat-related impacts to vulnerable populations.
