Update: Thunderstorms with marble-sized hail in West Central Alabama Saturday

The National Weather Service issued an updated report at 4:13 p.m. on Saturday for strong thunderstorms until 5 p.m. for Lamar, Fayette, Pickens and Tuscaloosa counties. The storms could bring marble-sized hail (0.5 inches) and wind gusts of up to 50 mph. "At 4:13 p.m., Doppler radar tracked strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Belk to near Ashcraft Corner to near Reform. Movement was east at 30 mph," states the weather service.
