LSU basketball dips intothe junior college ranks to pick up 7-footer for next season

In need of a big man after Will Baker completed his elligibility this past season, LSU coach Matt McMahon filled the spot Thursday with another 7-footer. McMahon announced that the school received signed scholarship papers from Noah Boyde, a 7-foot, 245-pound post player from McCook Community College in Nebraska. He was the No. 4 junior college recrruit this season, according to 247Sports. Boyde decommitted from Baylor on April 26 and chose LSU over Oregon and Wisconsin.
