Nebraska U.S. Sen. Pete Ricketts won the Republican nomination in the state's special primary election on Tuesday night, beating other GOP candidates, John Glen Weaver and Mac Stevens. He will face Democratic candidate and civil rights activist Preston Love Jr. in November's general election. Ricketts was initially appointed to his Senate seat in 2022 by Nebraska Gov.
