Man accused of murder in Waltham worksite crash held without bail after indictment

A 54-year-old man accused of slamming into a worksite last December, killing a Waltham police officer and a National Grid worker, was committed without bail during his arraignment in Middlesex Superior Court Wednesday, a court clerk confirmed to MassLive. Peter Simon, 54, of Woodsville, N.H., is charged with two counts of second-degree murder, two counts of motor vehicle homicide, armed robbery, armed carjacking, three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, larceny of a motor vehicle, four counts of operating to endanger, three counts of leaving the scene causing property...
