John Calipari officially becomes Arkansas coach on 5-year deal beginning at $7 million

It sounds a little strange saying it out loud, but John Calipari is now officially the head men’s basketball coach at Arkansas. The school announced Wednesday that Calipari has signed a five-year contract to lead the Razorbacks with a salary beginning at $7 million per season. He will be introduced at a press conference Wednesday evening. As reported by NJ Advance Media, Kentucky is targeting Baylor coach Scott Drew to replace Calipari.
