Residents Across Montgomery County Feel Earthquake

The earthquake's epicenter was Whitehouse Station, about 60 miles northeast of center city Philadelphia, and 50 miles southwest of downtown Manhattan. The US Geological Survey reports that the earthquake was a magnitude 4.8, and was felt as far north as communities around Boston. "Thought it was a truck going by," one resident in Royersford said. "It was noisy too, rumbling," a Valley Forge resident said. No damage has been reported to the Montgomery County area.
