No Damage Reported From 'Largest' Earthquake That Hit NYC Friday

A magnitude 4.8 earthquake was detected with an epicenter seven kilometers north northeast of Whitehouse Station in New Jersey, according to the United States Geological Survey, which monitors earthquakes. Seismetogiest said it is the largest recorded quake in the area. Officials from City Hall said that no major damage has been reported yet, and Mayor Adams is expected to make a statement at noon.
