ST. LOUIS — A longtime city firefighter died by suicide on Thursday, police said, after prosecutors charged him with possession of child pornography. Police said Jarret Morton, 50, accessed a Dropbox file containing child pornography while on the job at the city's fire house in the 2100 block of North Market Street in the St. Louis Place neighborhood. Investigators also found 221 videos of child pornography in a search of Morton's phone, charges say. Morton has worked for the fire department since 1994 and was paid $108,809 in 2022, according...
