Grieving family, firefighters advocate for better emergency care in Mingo County

MINGO COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – Volunteer firefighters are rallying together, shedding light on an ambulance crisis, after one of their own lost their wife exactly one week ago. Jeff Kirk, the Assistant Fire Chief at Kermit Volunteer Fire Department, is the husband of Chandra Kirk, who passed away on Monday, March 11, at 41 years old.
