Kansas City man convicted in 2020 double homicide

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City man was sentenced in a 2020 double homicide on Thursday, according to the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office. A Jackson County judge sentenced 36-year-old Cleon D. White to life in prison without parole plus 65 years. Last month, a Jackson County jury convicted White of two counts of first-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of armed criminal action.
