Nearly a year after the Legislature closed up shop, lawmakers will soon have a shot at overriding a veto Gov. Greg Gianforte had once denied them through a procedural loophole. Lewis and Clark County District Court Judge Mike Menahan on Tuesday rejected a request from Gov. Greg Gianforte's attorneys to pause the upcoming poll of lawmakers while Gianforte sought to block the poll at the next step in the judicial process.
