Kroger union rejects company’s offer, vote to authorize strike

CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) — Union workers at 38 Kroger stores across West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky have rejected the chain’s latest offer and have authorized a strike. 87% of workers rejected the company’s proposal and 85% authorized the strike, according to a press release from the United Food & Commerical Workers Local 400 Union.
