Omaha Creighton Prep wins state-record 24th high school swimming title with sweep of relays

LINCOLN — Omaha Creighton Prep’s latest state swimming title has elevated the Junior Jays program to a level all its own. Prep’s victory Saturday at the 88th boys championship meet was the 24th in school history. The Junior Jays now have the winningest program in state history, surpassing Omaha Westside’s previous state record total of 23. Only two other schools — Lincoln Southeast (13) and Lincoln High (11) — have a double-digit title total.
